Charges: Assault 4, Domestic Violence

Outcome: Case dismissed after treatment.

Description: Client accused of chocking her partner and pushing her into a pillow after a family argument.  Police responded and client was handcuffed and taken to jail.  We were able to show the prosecutor that this was an isolated incidence and that mental health treatment was more appropriate than punishment.  Prosecutor agreed to dismiss the case after the completion of mental health treatment.
